Unlike the other big names, Taito gets the iOS platform. This game is simple, stylish, and insanely addictive. Its the style of Rez meets a more traditional rhythm game with tons of unlockables and reply value. Best dollar I spent in months.

Fans of Rez, Frequency, Elektroplakton, Vib Ribbon and Space Invaders will be delighted. The soundtrack is top notch and ridiculously varied (as long as you like japanese tunes), perfect control, great interface. My personal favourite iOS music game, by far.

Controls, graphics and interface is original and clever but not a wide variety of songs

This game would be awesome if it actually worked properly i could only select easy on the first song, then nothing but icon select and purchase song from itunes worked afterwards.. Wouldve been worth my dollar if i could have actually done more than play the first song... Re-downloading the app didnt help either, did the exact same thing on me... :( i guess this app isnt supposed to run on the ipad2 or something!??? What the heck taito???

Fantastic game, excellent for fans of Rez, Lumines, Space Invaders Extreme... Would get a perfect score if not that there are sometimes hiccups that cause the players music to lag behind the background track. Hopefully this will be fixed, but regardless, it is still a must-buy, and a great example of a big japanese publisher not being afraid to put out a creative, affordable game on a non-traditional platform!

Beside the demo level, i cant play! Serioulsy! Can anyone help me!?

I have downloaded over 100 iOS games and I just had to write a quick review. This is the best gaming experience on the iPad and shows that were not only on the post PC era, this platform is slowly replacing my 360 and PS3. Heck, this 99 cents gem has given me more joy than many $59.99 retail games.

Im a fan of rythme games but this game is very short, about 30 min to get to the last level. Music are very strange, One or two are passable but it certainly not worth 3$. Im quite dissapointed.

This game is amazing. At 1$ Id recommend it to anyone. It looks like a lot of work went into the making of this game, its original and its fun. If you like musical tap games such as tap tap revenge, dance dance revolution or bit trip beat, get this game. I have a few minor problems: The scratch and flick notes dont work very well for me = The in-app purchases are expensive (1$ for one song? 1$ for an avatar?) Considering they dont really do anything... Butterfly, stage is flipped... So? Bird, points torwards your level are tripled... Im at max level anyway. Human, reduce the groove requirement at the end of the level by 30%... I havent had any trouble finishing any level (except the space invaders on hard) which took me 2 tries. All the avatars for purchase are fairly useless... And Id like to see a few more songs included in the original price... Another aspect I dislike is how ranks are determined. It seems that the rank you get is decided by how many great regular notes you hit and not at all related to the total points. This makes it pointless to aim for ad-libs as they dont seem to count for s-rank for me. Id make the ranks based on the amount of points accumulated in the song, making the chain multiplier and ad-lib notes more sought after. After update: Price rise to 3$. I still think its worth it to buy the game... Couple of free songs added, though 2 of the 4 new songs cost money >,< still the same problems as I stated above.

This is my ultimate favourite game. The graphics, music and purpose of the game are all so attractive and keeps you playing until you complete the game. Only complaint is that there arent enough songs and levels and they should be free!

Truly impressed with Taito. Production values are great- visuals are stunning especially on the retina display and the soundtrack is varied. There are skins to keep it fresh. Well worth the money, you can tell a lot of work went into it. One thing Id suggest - preview the song while selected, I dont like having to play it to see what it sounds like. PLAY WITH HEADPHONES OR ON SPEAKERS!

This game is fantastic, great fun and above all visually stunning. Definitely worth the money

The visuals are stunning, the music is great and memorable, but for some reason most of the tracks I try to play crashes the app. I gave the game a chance and bought the downloadable songs only to find more songs unplayable after leveling up. Even after all that, I still think this game is a must buy because the experience differs on the idevice (I played on an iPod Touch 4G). Theres also replay value. Anyways... Please fix the bugs Taito!

Very fun music game and really fun catchy tunes. Totally worth the 3 buck!

Feels like a steal at the current price... Great tunes, trippy visuals and makes me miss the Japanese rhythm games of the 90s. Definitely worth it!
