*Advice for players unsure how to proceed to the second stage*
Immediately after the first stage is successfully completed, a tutorial is displayed. Follow the tutorial instructions to proceed:
1. Touch the icon for stage 2, "Play merrily".
2. Touch the location indicated by the hand-shaped icon, at the bottom of the screen.
3. As the hand-shaped icon directs, drag your finger from right to left to change the Avatar in use.
4. Tap the hand-shaped icon to confirm your choice.
You are now able to play the second stage. No extra charge is required to play the second and subsequent stages.

This is the first time I write a review for an app. This one deserves it. Its the best rhythm game Ive ever played on a mobile device. And one of the best rhythm games overall. My favorite game on iOS.
this may be the best game on ipod its just awesome. i really like the menu and game desing and visuals the songs could be better and if they could add few more free levels in the updates it would be even more awesome
A great game that beats a line with a retro flair that you will be certain to appreciate. The simplicity make you want to try one more time. Anyone who loves music games and some funky beats, this game was made for you.

Some bad moments
This game would be awesome if it actually worked properly i could only select easy on the first song, then nothing but icon select and purchase song from itunes worked afterwards.. Wouldve been worth my dollar if i could have actually done more than play the first song... Re-downloading the app didnt help either, did the exact same thing on me... :( i guess this app isnt supposed to run on the ipad2 or something!??? What the heck taito???

Im a fan of rythme games but this game is very short, about 30 min to get to the last level. Music are very strange, One or two are passable but it certainly not worth 3$.
Im quite dissapointed.
Interesting music tracks, bright graphics, and varying levels of difficulty keep this game fun and engaging for a very long time! Its my favorite rhythm-based game for sure.
Strip away all the paint and Groove Coaster isnt much different than say Tap Tap Revenge. In fact it is much simpler. However Groove Coaster is a much deeper experience because of its charm and style. Most of the music is a love it or hate it thing but play through a few stages and it is a psychedelic trip of grooviness. It can be challenging in its own right (perfection and ad-libs are needed for S rank on hard) but it ease of access make it fun to play anywhere and song length is great for a phone game. ADD ME on gamecenter Major No Fun
Its worth a shot, but personally Im glad I got it for free. Its an interesting concept, and I like the one-touch controls, the songs, and the hidden notes. but there are a few things that keep me from playing this game more often than once every few months.
-hidden notes are too hard to find sometimes, resulting usually in an erased multiplier.
-when a level is replayed it should reset the custom coaster song that way if a little sibling plays the game (or something along those lines) your coaster isnt doomed to a repetitive streak
-there is way too much hype over IAPs.
overall Id pay a dollar for it if I had to choose again, but not $3
for a free music game get tap tap revenge, for a fun game get cytus, for a hard game get almost any other music game.
in short this game is as simple as music games get, although it is fun to pull out once in a while when you dont want to think about what to do
